YESSS, you read that right!! It’s one of the many secrets people just don’t dare to do but boy it is nice when you actually start getting deals that were not even shown or get a discount!!

There actually is no standard way of doing this or magical recipe, you just have to go for it !

AIRBNB

The best deals I ever got were from Airbnb…. I don’t know if this is legal or not but hey, this advice is too good not to be shared !

Think about it, people are … people ! You won’t know unless you ask and renting their Airbnb for cheaper is better than not renting it at all so NEGOCIATE

What do I say ? Well, I am just raw and honest ! I ask them for a better rate plain and simple. I negotiate for better rates during low seasons or in exchange for new pictures of the place, copywriting for selling the appt or general service I can offer ( I am certified lash lift technician )😎

It works, I always get people that offer me special rates and discounts.

Boutique hotels

Boutique hotels will usually be more inclined for negotiations than big hotel chains. If you offer them something that they want or need, they will be open to negotiations. You will definitely be in a better position to negotiate if you can offer :

  • Professional quality pictures or videos

  • High visibility in stories or posts (you are an influencer or have a big following)

  • Skills that they need (marketing like creating content such as a blog posts, digital ads, etc.)

  • If you are bringing them clientele (traveling with a big group or many referrals)

  • Be creative here, maybe these things spark an idea in you and I say : GO FOR IT

Hotels

All of the above applies but simply not that there is are higher chances of getting ignored or told no by hotels than boutique hotels and AirBnb owners.

Would love to know if you have any other tips and tricks to share here 😊
